1. Who we are

ToolPriv is operated at toolpriv.com. Contact: hello@toolpriv.com.

2. Files & local tool processing

Our tools (image compression, resizing, HEIC conversion, EXIF cleanup, PDF utilities, contact merge, link cleaning, QR codes, password generation, and similar) are designed to process files in your browser using technologies such as Canvas, WebAssembly, and JavaScript.

We do not operate a ToolPriv file-upload backend for these tools, and we do not store your tool files on ToolPriv servers. Working data stays in your browser session unless you download results yourself. Closing the tab typically discards in-memory working data.

Pages still load scripts, styles, and (if you consent) analytics/ads. That network activity is separate from uploading your document to finish a tool job.

3. Information we may collect

• Essential preferences: theme and cookie-consent choices stored in your browser (localStorage).
• Contact emails: if you email us, we receive the content of that message.
• Usage analytics (optional): if enabled and permitted by your consent choice, Google Analytics may collect anonymized or aggregated traffic data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser info).
• Advertising (optional): if AdSense is active and you accept non-essential cookies, Google and partners may use cookies and similar technologies as described below.

To keep ToolPriv free, we may use Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Non-essential cookies for analytics/ads are requested through our consent banner where shown.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the site or advertising setup changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
