1. The short version

ToolPriv (toolpriv.com) provides free tools that run in your web browser. Your files (images, PDFs, text for QR codes, generated passwords) are processed on your own device. We do not operate a file-upload backend for these tools, and we do not store your uploaded files on our servers.

2. Files & local processing

When you use Compress, Resize, PDF, QR, Password, or similar tools, processing happens with browser technologies (Canvas, WebAssembly / JavaScript libraries). Files remain under your device’s control. Closing the tab discards in-memory working data unless you download results yourself.

3. Cookies, analytics & ads

To keep ToolPriv free, we may use:

• Essential preferences (theme, cookie consent) in localStorage
• Google Analytics (if enabled) for anonymized traffic stats
• Google AdSense for advertisements after you accept cookies

Ad and analytics partners may set their own cookies subject to their policies. You can reject non-essential cookies via our consent banner.
